Exhibition Opening Party

Tessellation Art is proud to present the ‘Modern Day Mosaic’ Exhibition Opening Party on Saturday 16th April 2016.

The event will take place in the capital of Czech Republic, Prague: TA’s current home. The month long exhibition will display ten new pieces of artwork which have been developed since TA’s first show, almost exactly a year ago to the day. The new works build upon M. C. Escher inspired tessellations, fusing them with photography, hand drawings and digital art – some of which will soon be available in TA’s online shop.

This first viewing will be accompanied by animations which visually document the design and development process of the artwork – the soundtrack to which has been provided by Analog Mountain, who will be playing live at the party. Overland Inn will complete the musical lineup off the back of their European Tour. There will also be a live art auction, whose winners will become owners of the very first canvases of two of the new designs.

Tessellation Art has been documenting behind the scenes of ‘Modern Day Mosaic’ and will continue to do so up to and including the opening party. So keep an eye on the TA youtube channel for updates!
